New members Luther Amundson and Libby Schmit will be officially inducted into the Rotary Club of Edina at the meeting.
 
Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Bob Dickey as the first program speaker of the new Rotary year Thursday, July 9. Dickey is managing director of Technical Analysis at RBC Wealth Management. He will speak about "Market Maps: The Road Ahead for the Stock Market."
 
Jennifer Bennerotte will preside over her first meeting as president of Rotary Club of Edina.

Dickey has been with RBC Wealth Management for over 40 years in a variety of positions, all of which have had a focus on equity analysis and investing and includes working with the firm’s financial advisors. Bob has a large following of individual and institutional investors, traders, and others. He has been the firm’s technical analyst since 1988, writing a daily public market commentary and assisting the financial advisors with their stock analysis and investment decisions. He is quoted frequently in the financial press and makes numerous public appearances each year. He is a past winner of the Business Week Magazine Market Contest, Wall Street Journal Dartboard Contest and was awarded “Best in Business” by Twin Cities Business Monthly.

Prior to joining the Portfolio Advisory Group, Dickey managed the Options Department for eight years and served as the firm’s senior registered options principal, involved with the firm’s compliance, trading, and option strategies. Initially, Dickey's first full-time position with the firm was in the Margin Department during the 1970s.
 
Dickey is a lifelong resident of Edina, where he lives with his wife and three college-age children. He attended the University of Minnesota, majoring in Architecture.

All are welcome to attend a Rotary Club of Edina meeting. The club meets Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. Cost for lunch and the program is $19.
