Caryn Sullivan to speak at this week's meeting

Caryn Sullivan will be the program speaker at the Thursday, Oct. 6, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. She will speak about "Living in the Moment, Preparing for the Inevitable." Sullivan is an inspirational speaker, award-winning columnist and author of Bitter or Better: Grappling With Life on the Op-Ed Page, winner of a 2015 Midwest Book award. A recovering attorney, she weaves her intellectual curiosity and her empathetic heart into her writing and speaking. A cancer survivor, widow and mother of both a bone marrow transplant survivor and her donor, Caryn’s passion is helping others to find the “better” in and out of life’s experiences. Her columns can be read in the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Rotarian Toni Gerard will give her classification talk at the meeting.
