Dr. Jonathan Finnoff, director of the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center in downtown Minneapolis, is the program speaker for the Thursday, Sept. 22, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. He will speak about "Regenerative Medicine Treatments for Osteoarthritis." Finnoff is also team physician for the Timberwolves and Lynx basketball teams, and one of the head team physicians for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Teams.

Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Dr. Jonathan Finnoff, DO, as program speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 22, meeting. He is an internationally recognized expert in sports medicine and is the Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center in downtown Minneapolis. Finnoff is also the Program Director for their Sports Medicine Fellowship. He is a professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. He has published over 70 original research articles on peer reviewed journals, authored multiple book chapters, and co-edited a text book titled “Sports Medicine: Study Guide and Review for Boards." 
 
Finnoff is a member of the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He is a team physician for the Timberwolves and Lynx basketball teams, and one of the head team physicians for the United States Ski and Snowboard Teams.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome! Cost for lunch and the program is $20 for adults, $12 for kids. We accept cash, check or credit card payments. A service fee will be applied to each lunch paid for with a credit card.
