The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Katie Clark Sieben as program speaker this Thursday, Oct. 19. Clark Sieben is an economic development consultant with the City of Edina. She will speak about "The Grandview Green Project." 

This week is also Prospective Member Day! All Rotarians are encouraged to bring a friend or colleague that is intersted in learning more about our club and Rotary. All prospective members get lunch on the club at this week's meeting! Contact Membership Director Greg Yoch with questions.

Returning member Dick Teegen and new member Rich Kleber will be officially inducted into the club at the meeting.

Katie Clark Sieben is President and CEO of The Eden Company, an economic development consulting firm. Her current work includes leading the Grandview Green Project on behalf of the City of Edina. Her public service experience includes serving as a Commissioner at the Metropolitan Airports Commission, the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, and as Executive Director of the Minnesota Trade Office (MTO).
 
Clark Sieben also has years of experience in the private sector, including with Target Corporation and a startup wind energy developer, National Wind. Clark Sieben graduated from the University of Minnesota and was a recipient of the 2012 MSP Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” Award, the MSP Business Journal's "13 People to Watch" in 2013 and the Minnesota Business Magazine's "Power 50" Award in 2014.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for lunch and the program is $20 for adults, $12 for children. Cash and check payments are accepted. There will be no credit card payment accepted at this week's meeting.
