What was your first job? Working in my mother’s retail store in Northfield, Minnesota.
Who was your first role model and why? My mother. She was a single mom who had to overcome a lot in her life. She instilled a lot of drive and creativity in both my brother and I to become the men we are today.
Why did you want to join Rotary? After residing in Fargo, North Dakota, for 3+ years, my family and I decided to finally put down roots in Edina. I wanted to join Rotary to be a part of something bigger than myself, and to meet and connect with like-minded people.
What do you like best about being part of the Rotary Club of Edina? John Flynn’s laugh. Seriously, though humor is a big part of my life. I enjoy the fact that most Edina Rotarians do serious business while not taking themselves too seriously.
What one piece of advice do you offer other business leaders? Persistence always pays off, do not give up on something you’re passionate about and believe in.
