Oct. 22 is Rotary Vocational Day at Microsoft in Edina

This week the Rotary Club of Edina is holding their annual Vocational Day meeting. The Thursday, Oct. 22, meeting will be the Microsoft Technology Center in Edina. Because of space limitations, only 64 members will be able to attend the event. Members must register to attend the event due to security at the building. The meeting will begin at noon, so members are asked to arrive by 11:45 a.m. to get their name badge from Microsoft staff and find the meeting room. Next week we will be back at the Edina Country Club for the meeting. Oct 29 is Prospective Member Day for Rotary Club of Edina. Please bring along a friend or colleague that is interested in learing more about Rotary. All prospective members eat free on Oct. 29!

Due to security at Microsoft, we will need anyone planning to attend the meeting to register by Monday, Oct. 19. No walk-ins will be accepted the day of the meeting due to Microsoft's security requirements. No exceptions will be made and those who are not registered will be turned away. The maximum number of people that can attend the meeting is 64, so register as soon as possible. We ask that this meeting be for Rotarians only. No guests please since there is a limited number of spots available.

Check-in for the meeting will be at 11:45 a.m. To get into the Microsoft offices, you will need to go to their offices on the sixth floor, have a government-issued ID with you to get a badge and go to the meeting room. As this takes some extra time, please make sure to arrive at 11:45 so that the meeting can being at noon.
This counts as the meeting for the week, so there is no additional cost for regular members. Senior Active and Honorary members will be charged $19 at the door as usual.
Our club holds vocational meetings annually to highlight a vocation and/or business in our community. The meeting will feature information about the company, as well as a tour of the facility
