The program speakers for the Thursday, March 15, Rotary Club of Edina meeting are Nancy Byers Killilea and Lesley A. Chester. Killilea is the founder of the non-profit Pass Your Park, which collects donated winter gear to help those in need. Chester is Chief Advancement Officer at House of Charity.
 
There will be a donation box at the meeting for members and guests to bring their winter gear to be donated to Pass Your Parkas. Please contact Mary Hustad for more information. 
Nancy Byers Killilea is a passionate marketing executive and do-gooder. She invests time
inspiring kids to read, helping provide early education for under-served communities, feeding
the hungry and supporting the homeless. She is an active member of Edina Gives a Damn and
the Morningside Women’s Club.
 
Professionally she has had leadership roles in marketing and general management for 20+ years with General Mills, CNS and Airborne, Inc. Killilea has a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a MBA from the University of Minnesota.
 
She lives in Edina with her husband and two sons and enjoys traveling, reading and reluctantly going to the gym.

Lesley A. Chester, Chief Advancement Officer, joined House of Charity in September 2013. She is a proud fundraising generalist with more than 20 years of experience in fund development and marketing that includes individual giving, annual giving, planned giving, grant writing, special events, major giving, prospect research, board development, volunteer recruitment and marketing. She also has more than 12 years of experience leading small non-profit organizations in the role of executive director. She has recently worked for East Side Neighborhood Services, Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota, and the SouthWest Metro Educational Foundation. 
 
Lesley has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota in Speech Communication and English and is completing her Master of Arts from St. Mary’s University in Philanthropy and Development.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. The cost for lunch is $20 for adults, $12 for children. Cash, check and credit card payments are accepted at the door.
