This week is Prospective Member Day at the Rotary Club of Edina! Members are encouraged to bring a friend or colleague who is interested in Rotary to the meeting. The program speaker for this week's meeting, Thursday, April 27, is Lee Anderson. Anderson is external relations director for General Mills. He will speak about "General Mills: 150 Years of Serving the World By Making Food People Love."

Lee Anderson is Director of Issues Management and State Government Relations for General Mills. At General Mills, Anderson advocates the company’s interests during the formation of public policy, leads company efforts to identify, analyze and prioritize key and emerging reputational and regulatory issues, and executes engagement with stakeholders. He leads all U.S. state lobbying efforts for the company, and supports employees through civic engagement opportunities.
 
An attorney with over 20 years of government relations and policy experience, Anderson is active in the Minnesota policy community—he is a past chair of the Citizens League, a nonpartisan organization that advances policy solutions and builds civic leadership, and a past chair of the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee.
