The fall Prospective Member Day meeting for the Rotary Club of Edina will be Thursday, Oct. 20. Edina Rotarians are encouraged to bring a friend or colleague interested in learning more about Rotary and our club to the meeting. Lunch is on the club for all prospective members Oct. 20! Please make sure your guests check in when they arrive.

The program speaker for Prospective Member Day will be Randy Stenger, founder and CEO of Extreme Sandbox, a heavy equipment adventure company that lets clients play on construction equipment. With his diverse background, Stenger found a way to unleash his innovative and outside-the-box thinking to build a national experiential entertainment brand.  True to entrepreneur form, he has learned on the fly how to adapt and conquer the many challenges in growing a small business. Starting with a small site and part-time business plan in 2012, he has grown Extreme Sandbox into a full-time operation with multiple sites and a national appearance on ABC’s hit show "Shark Tank" in January 2016. Extreme Sandbox has vaulted into an emerging national brand after appearing on the show.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for the lunch and program is $20 for adults, $12 for children. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted as payment (there is a service fee on each lunch paid for with a credit card).
