What was your first job? Filling orders and packing boxes in the shipping and receiving department of a local business.
Who was your first role model and why? Abraham Lincoln. As a kid, I was fascinated by his ability to lead the nation during the Civil War.
Why did you want to join Rotary? Because I was amazed by the quality of the people I met when I visited Rotary. It seemed to be a club for serious people. Everyone I met was friendly and welcoming.
What do you like best about being part of the Rotary Club of Edina? The pride people take in making Edina Rotary the No. 1 Club in the universe.
What one piece of advice do you offer other business leaders? Never reinvent the wheel. Learn everything you can from those who have gone before you.
