Interact Club hosts skating for a cause

The Interact Club of Edina held their second Skate to End Polio Feb. 10, to raise funds for The Rotary Foundation and their PolioPlus program. Those in attendance, including Edina Rotarians and their families, skated under the stars, and the event raised more than $1,500 for PolioPlus. Thanks to all who attended and donated money to the Interact Club for their biggest event of the year.

B2B Resource Table at meetings
The Rotary Club of Edina now has a “B2B Resource Table” for members to share information about their businesses or other organizations at weekly meetings.

Members may place business cards, promotional items, handouts or other materials on the table each week for others to take. Such materials are not allowed on luncheon tables, unless it is related to the featured speaker’s presentation or a club activity. Members who bring items for the B2B Resource Table are responsible for taking them at the end of the meeting; any items left will be thrown away or recycled by the Edina Country Club.

The table may be discontinued if it is found to be of little interest to members.

For more information, contact Past President Jennifer Bennerotte, jbennerotte@EdinaRotary.org.

Letter bag
I am writing to thank the Edina Rotary Foundation for your support of CornerHouse and to report on the successful
implementation of our 2016 grant.

The Edina Rotary Foundation awarded CornerHouse $4,600.00 to support a vital upgrade of the CornerHouse medical
exam room, where individuals who may have suffered sexual abuse receive essential services in a comforting
environment. With this support, we were able to purchase the following items:
