Event: District Assembly
Date: April 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fee: Free (up to 10 club members can attend free as part of the district training fee) 
Location: Crown College, 8700 College View Drive, St. Bonifacius, Minnesota
Details: This training event prepares incoming club leaders for their year in office and helps them build their leadership teams. Designed for 2017–2018 club officers, chairs, committee members, new members and all Rotarians interested in learning more about Rotary. 

• The keynote speaker will be author Annie Meehan, who will uplift club members with the awareness of how they could be just another "expert" in the world or they could "Be the Exception." 

• Incoming Rotary District Governor Bob Halagan will share his vision for the 2017–2018 Rotary year. 

• In addition, participants can share ideas in themed Breakout Sessions, get new ideas in the Project Expo and network with fellow Rotarians.

Breakout Sessions include:

    •    Strengthening Clubs Through Diverse Membership
    •    Public Image Building
    •    Setting Club Goals
    •    Club Collaboration of Service Projects
    •    How to Run an Effective Foundation Campaign

Remember, each club can send 10 members to this training event; there are no individual fees. Represent your club and take great ideas back home!
