Speaker Aug. 22 Meeting, Senator Rudy Boschwitz
Senator Rudy Boschwitz will deliver his speech entitled "Magnificent America" traces the history of the world since WWII. He'll note the growth of Democracy, the rise of 4 billion people world-wide out of poverty to the middle class (just as South Korea has experience) and the longest period of time in history (74 years) that have had no wars between major powers.

TAKING ACTION TO PREVENT HUMAN SEX TRAFFICKING: Learn what you can do to increase the safety of our children!  The Edina Rotary invites you to join us on September 19th, 11:30-1:30 p.m. at a weekly meeting that will start early as we present a workshop on Human Sex Trafficking Prevention. REGISTER HERE to sign up.

Edina Rotary members need to register themselves and any guests so that we have a headcount for lunches.  Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. and we recommend that guests sign in early as all Clubs in the District and key Human Trafficking Prevention agencies have been invited. Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. sharp. Cost for the event is the same as a regular Rotary Club of Edina meeting: Senior Active and Honorary members pay $20 at the door, as do any guests. Regular members have already paid for the meal on their quarterly invoice.
