In Review - July 25 Meeting

President Josh Sprague opened the program by introducing his youngest and most handsome son, Nick, who led us through the Rotarian code of conduct.

Josh continued with the topic of “ What is Rotary?” Which is the largest humanitarian service network in the world. 35,000 clubs in over 200 countries.

Next the President took us through a few benefits of Rotary:

International service trips and attend international conventions.

Josh thanked the volunteers for the day and various announcements about our winter program, gala events and convention. It was Prospective Member Day. We had nearly 20 up and coming young professional guests join our meeting to learn more about Rotary and our club.

Next was an awesome video of Julia Child on her thoughts on what makes a great chef.

Finally our guest speaker pictured here with Sutton McGraw, Gavin Kaysen, gave a detailed history of his journey from baking cookies with his grandmother, to his the various master chef’s that he worked under and now being the Owner and Head Chef of three restaurants:

1. Spoon and Stable
2. Bellecour
3. Demi
4. Catering business

Lot’s of great questions and another world class meeting, adjourned from the number one club in the universe.
