Jonathan Mays currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Minnesota Golf Association, a position held since September 2023.

Prior to this role, Mays was the Director of Athletics and Senior Associate Director of Athletics at the University of New Haven from October 2019 to September 2023. Mays also has experience as the Director of Development for Special Olympics Illinois and served as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Illinois Wesleyan University. Earlier in the career, Mays worked in various capacities at the University of Kansas Athletics, including Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development. Mays holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sport Management and a Master's degree in Sport Management, both from The University of Kansas.
