Here is some additional info about the organizations we are collecting for:

66 West – provides homes for 37 suburban youth that have experienced homelessness.  Rent is based on income and on-site support for education, employment, health, civic engagement and leadership is provided.

Good in the Hood – Is a charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to influence, inspire and impact individuals, families and entire communities for good through kindness-based initiatives by providing food, shoes, medical foot care, Holiday Help, and hope to local communities.  The gifts from Edina Rotary will be part of their Holiday Help Program.

Young Parent Program, Simpson Housing Services – The Young Parent Program provides supportive housing to youth (18 to 24) and their children.  They provide subsidized housing and intensive support services to 22 young parent families.  Ten of the families live at Cedarview, an apartment building in South Minneapolis owned by Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative.  The gifts from Edina Rotary will be part of the holiday celebration at Cedarview.

Thank you for sharing your holiday spirit again this year and for bringing a much-needed dash of joy to those in need.
