The Rotary Club of Edina is once again collecting holiday gifts for families in need in our community. LAST DAY donations can be dropped off at the Edina Country Club during our Holiday Cocktail Party on Thursday, December 19. Cash or check donations are also welcome. Rotarian Jean Morrison is spearheading the Holiday Giving Program, which will be donating to CornerStone and 66 West again this year. Members are asked to bring UNWRAPPED gifts and gift cards for children of any age (infant all the way through teens) as well as gifts for moms, dads, and families served by CornerStone. This year, gift cards to Macy's, Marshalls, Target, Famous Footwear, Torrid were also requested for the residents at 66 West to buy clothing for job interviews.  Jean will take the funds donated and buy gift cards or other gifts to be donated as well.

Here is some additional info about the organizations we are collecting for:

• Cornerstone—works with families and individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking. Their Emergency Shelter provides a safe place to stay and basic needs for those who are in imminent danger of violence. As you can imagine, it is very difficult for families to be in shelter—and away from their extended families and friends—during the holidays. Your gifts to Cornerstone's clients helps make the season brighter for them because they know that our community cares and supports them

• 66 West—provides homes for 39 suburban youth that have experienced homelessness. Rent is based on income and staff provide on-site support for education, employment, health, and civic engagement and leadership. Gift cards to Macy's, Marshalls, Target, Famous Footwear, Torrid will help 66 West residents purchase clothes for job interviews.

Thank you for sharing your holiday spirit again this year with those in need in our community!
