"How to be More Persuasive, Productive and Happy" Shari Storm has been a member of Rotary Club of Emerald City since 2006.
She spent 16 years as an executive at a credit union. She is now the CEO of a consulting company called Category 6. Her book, Motherhood is the New MBA: Using Your Parenting Skills to be a Better Boss, was published by St. Martin’s Press. With almost 20,000 copies sold, it has been translated and published in China and was purchased for publication in Brazil.

Mark your calendar for the 2025 Rotary Club of Edina car show to be held SUNDAY, September 14 from Noon to 4 pm at 50th and France. This show has become one of the area's largest car shows and car registration has already sold out. Watch the web and Barker for further event details and volunteer opportunities. Aug. 1, 2025 — The Rotary Club of Edina will host the seventh-annual Edina Car Show noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in downtown Edina.
The Edina Car Show will be held rain or shine in the 50th & France District where West 50th Street will be transformed into a pedestrian mall. The free family-friendly event will feature some of the best collector cars in Minnesota, including luxury, super and classic cars from premier private collections. Featured cars will include Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Cadillac, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche and Rolls Royce. Attendees can look forward to awards for Best in Show (balloted award) and Top 5 Cars in Show (juried awards).

July 17, 2025 — The foundation of the Rotary Club of Edina recently awarded grants of $5,000 to Avenues for Youth and Edina Give and Go.
Avenues for Youth helps young people find their path out of homelessness, providing housing, food, hygiene items, one-one-one support, mental health therapy, recreational outings and leadership development opportunities.
Edina Give and Go provides needs-based activity scholarships to ensure Edina Public Schools students facing economic hardship have the change to explore enriching experiences, making sports, arts and clubs accessible to all students.
July 8, 2025 — The Edina Rotary Foundation is accepting applications from non-profit organizations in Edina and its contiguous communities for grants to be used for capital purchases. Applications are due Oct. 31.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Edina raises money at the Edina Car Show and a fall fundraiser to support its projects and award grants. Each year, about $100,000 is raised for the Club’s service projects and local and international grants. The 2025-2026 Rotary Club of Edina Meeting Duty Roster and Duty Description outline was sent to your email on file Saturday, July 5. The roster format has been simplified to an alphabetical list by member, with the meeting date and task to the left of your name. The number of duties has been reduced to four: Front Desk/Intro Guest; Greeter/Invocation; Speaker Intro/Thank the Speaker and Photographer. More meeting duty details are below.
