The Rotary Club of Edina will hold a Vocational Day meeting this Thursday, May 18, at Grandview Tire & Auto–Cahill, 5415 70th St. W., Edina. Check in at the meeting will begin at 11:45 a.m., and the meeting will end promptly at 1:30 p.m. Lunch and beverages will be provided.
Our club holds vocational meetings annually to highlight a vocation and/or business in our community. Grandview Tire & Auto is owned by Rotarian Tim Murphy.
We ask that members register for the meeting for planning purposes. Please click here to register. Registration is open through noon today, Tuesday, May 16. Lunches are limited, so if you do not register, you may not be able to have lunch at the meeting.

Jody Kern, Kim Stoner and Jen Tregarthen hosted the Women of Rotary last Tuesday, May 9, at Jody's home for an evening of food and fellowship. More than 15 female Rotary Club of Edina Rotarians attended and were greeted with an incredible spread of food and delicious "Rotaritas," mixed by resident Rotary bartender Jen Tregarthen.
Periodically we feature a newer member of the Rotary Club of Edina on our website and in our newsletter. The Rotary Club of Edina welcomed André Brewer as a member in October 2016. André's sponsor to the club was Sam Cote.

You have impacted my whole life in only five days of camping, having the opportunity to meet incredible people and learning new skills. I didn't know what to expect coming to this camp, but I know that everything happens for a reason. And this camp gave me a new perspective on life.
The Rotary Club of Edina gathered May 11 and welcomed Edina Mayor Jim Hovland as program speaker. New member Heather Edelson was officially inducted into the club, and Rotarian Jen Tregarthen shared details about her life and family during her classification talk. Mike Sitek, representing the Community Service—Local Funding Committee, handed out a Edina Rotary Foundation grant to Minnesota Life College. And there were more announcements!
