There may be limited "no show" seating available and you are encourage to come early and join the Rotary welcome wavers (see the schedule below). Meal is paid for in quarterly meeting fees. This event is an EARLY START Sept 28 at 10:45/11:00 a.m welcome wavers. We need you to Rally. 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Welcome Receiving Line forms outside of Edina Country Club. We’ll wave in the mini bus of Rotary VIPs to Edina Country Club, from 50th Street to the clubhouse on Wooddale Avenue. Lunch and meeting seating by 11:30 a.m. Meeting end at 12:30 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 28 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Edina Country Club. This is big! We’re going to shine and show how enthusiastic we are that Rotary International is considering Minneapolis/St. Paul as the worldwide host of the 2029 Rotary International Convention. Registration was required.

LAST WEEK TO TURN IN YOUR STUBS and PAYMENT- -- Member raffle tickets have been distributed and now is the time to turn in the stubs and payment to Kip Peterson in the mail or in-person. Raffle ticket sales are an important part of a successful Edina Rotary Foundation annual fundraiser. Over $15,000 a year is consistent raised with 100 % of the money going toward our local grants program and back into the communities of Edina, St. Louis Park, Eden Prairie, Minneapolis, and Bloomington. Cash prizes are $1,000 and four $100 winners.

MEETING DATE ADDED.REGISTER -- Election season is underway for many communities across Minnesota and the Twin Cities. In Edina, residents will elect school board members, and will also decide whether to approve a local option sales tax referendum. Meet at the South Metro Public Safety Training Facility, 7525 Braemar Blvd., 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, for boxed lunches and a presentation. Registration is required and limited to 40 Rotarians. We are back for another year of fun on Friday, Sept 29th from 5:30-8:30 pm at Centennial Lakes Pavillion in Edina. The event includes sampling craft beer, cider, and seltzers from local breweries, a silent auction including items from local businesses, games, and food!
