The June 23 meeting will be our club and foundation's board transition meeting. 2021-2022 President Michael Stanzak will hand over the gavel to 2022-2023 President Joe Hayes. The program this week will be a reflection and celebration of the 2021-2022 club and foundation achievements. Awards will be presented to those board and committee members who have fulfilled their service term as well as recognition of two members who have earned the Rotarian of the Year award. Rotary Club of Edina Family Picnicis set for Wednesday, June 29 at Centennial Lakes Parlor Room, 7499 France Ave South, Edina, 55435. 952-833-9583. The picnic will take the place of our regular Rotary meeting that week. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. and go until 7:30 p.m. Register yourself, family and friends. Cost is $20 for Senior Active and Honorary Rotarians, as well as adult guests. Kids ages 6-18 are $12. Children 5 and under are free. For regular members, the cost of the picnic is already included in your quarterly dues.

The caterers the year will be Pimentos Jamaican Kitchen who will be providing a fantastic menu of jerk chicken and a variety of sides. A complete beverage selection of red and white wine will be provided as well as domestic and premium beer. Soda, water and non-alcoholic beverages will be available as well.

The two Edina Rotary clubs are uniting to walk and hand out mini American flags with our logo on it. “Louise,” the classic Stanzak Bicentennial El Dorado convertible, will be escorting new President Joe Hayes and his wife Kris.
