Great news! Our gala ticket sales were such a success we may have reached our venue seating capacity. Don't despair, our gala committee is working tirelessly to finalize the seating arrangements and looking for a few more chairs to seat those who are willing hanging out on a waiting list. The “Purple Auction,” an online auction featuring signed rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia benefitting the Edina Rotary Foundation, opens 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
Auction items include memorabilia autographed by Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Daryl Hall, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Frampton and Steve Miller. Other signed items are from Prince’s New Power Generation, Barry Manilow, Carrie Underwood, Cory Wong, Sheila E and others, curated by Rotary Club of Edina President and rock ‘n’ roll star St. Paul Peterson. Other items include gift certificates and event tickets.
