Five volunteers are needed to clean and winterize the “Grow and Give” gardens Oct. 24 at The Sheridan Story. The gardens were built earlier this year with funds from the Rotary Clubs of Edina, Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis and Roseville and Rotary International District 5950. SIGN UP HERE.
The Sheridan Story identified an approximately 4,000-square-foot plot of land at its facility in Roseville to convert into a produce garden to expand its fresh produce program. The majority of this property is owned by Ramsey County. The small portion owned by The Sheridan Story’s landlord, CSM, was approved for use. The Grow and Give gardens were built and planted in May. Because of COVID-19, Rotarians were not able to help with the project. Read more for hours.

The Gala Committee would like to take a moment to thank all our members for the generosity of their time, financial resources and can-do spirit during this year's fundraising efforts. It's been a challenging year and to pivot to smaller gatherings held in member homes wasn't even a concept this spring. It's amazing how well we've embraced this new way of earning money to share and are making it work for us. We're working hard to put the finishing touches on organizing the dinners, the videos, the fun and games and can't wait to hear about all the special moments during each of these dinners. Please let co-chairs Catherine Gump or Bjorn Freudenthal know if you have any questions or comments.
Due to two different meeting platforms and the excellent talents of C-Vision Productions (Chris Laskowski) it has been decided to make better use of the taped and edited meetings that are posted to You Tube and use them as our new "In Review" format. This will eliminate the duty of "The Barker" note taker/writer and we will, for the time being, no longer publish written reviews. We will continue to publish several live meeting still photos with captions at the end of each newsletter as a mini-recap.
We will post the link to the current meeting You Tube video (see above). Please see Facebook once they are posted.
