 More than 100 will attend the Rotary Club of Edina's annual family picnic in the pavilion at Three Rivers Park District's Bryant Lake Park Thursday, June 15.
The picnic will be held rain or shine. Sit back and relax while talking with other Rotarians and their families or take part in yard games and other mixers. Children's activities will also be scheduled for this special event. The picnic will be catered by Famous Dave's. The buffet will include garden salad, country-roasted chicken, Texas beef brisket, potato salad, beans, corn bread muffins, chocolate chip brownie bites, Dave's Famous Bread Pudding and chocolate chip cookies. Free water and lemonade will be served. A cash bar will also be available. Domestic beer costs $4; premium beer, $5; and house wine, $5 per glass.  Doors and cash bar for this come-and-go event open at 5 p.m. The buffet will open at 5:30 p.m. A Touch of Magic will twist balloon animals and paint children's faces from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Princess Belle will lead storytime at 6:30 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. meet-and-greet. The picnic concludes at 8 p.m.

That's the message speaker Jerry Rubino shared with the Rotary Club of Edina at its meeting June 8, which also included a new member induction, grant check presentation and recognition of the club's newest Major Donors. .png)
The Rotary Club of Edina will not meet at its usual time Thursday, June 15. Instead, the club will host its family picnic that evening at Bryant Lake Park in Eden Prairie.
