The annual spring Rotary Club of Edina volunteer effort at Feed My Starving Children is set for Saturday, May 6. Rotarians, family and friends are welcome to register to pack meals for children in need around the world. We will meet at the Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen from 9 to 11 a.m.

Last Wednesday, March 1, Joe Arends, Hannelore Brucker, Rick Carlson and I had an opportunity to take a hard hat tour of 66 West, our signature project for this Rotary year. The 66 West project will feature 39 units of affordable housing for young people who have experienced homelessness between the ages of 18 to 23. 

 

 

 

Several Rotarians brought significant others, children, grandchildren and friends to participate in the Rotary golf event at Golf Zone in Chaska last Friday, March 3. Organized by Membership—Retention Committee member Dan Hennen, participants could hit golf balls on the driving range from a shared stall, compete in the Mini Masters Golf Tournament, and partake in a catered dinner from Buca di Bepo and a dessert reception. Fun was had by all! Thanks to Dan for his hard work on this great family event.

 

 

Thank you so much for the $1,000 Camp Enterprise scholarship and all of the work you've done for the camp. I've learned business skills that I will carry with me for the rest of my life and made friends I am still close to, and none of it would've been possible without your efforts!
