David is the President/Owner of the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club with a background and career in hospitality, management, and clubhouse management. Remarkably, he took ownership of Horse and Hunt as Covid19 shut down the state, yet found ways to serve patrons, when others were forced to close. Several years ago, David experienced a life and health event which impacted his priorities with lessons woven within his message.

Edina High School senior Katerina Duda has been named a Guatemala Literacy Fellow.
Duda is an Edina Rotary Global Scholar. She completed her Global Scholars capstone project last year, researching literacy in Guatemala. During her research, she came across the Guatemala Literacy Project, one of the largest grassroots, multi-club, multi-district projects in Rotary. More than 800 clubs and 90 districts have been working together since 1997 to improve education for underserved students in Guatemala. In that time, more than 295,000 students have been served through four sustainable programs that are tested and proven to work.

The Edina Chamber of Commerce and the City of Edina present our annual State of City in partnership with the Rotary Club of Edina and the Rotary Club of Edina Morningside. Edina Mayor James B. Hovland and Edina Public Schools Superintendent Stacie Stanley will address city issues and present upcoming plans.
The presentation will be emceed by City Manager Scott Neal and will be recorded and later broadcast on Edina TV.
You may attend as a non-lunching guest at no cost. To have enough seating, registration is appreciated.

The weekend of April 5-7, 2024, Dr. S.K. and Kalpana Dash will be honored and inducted into the Arch Klumph Society (AKS) at Rotary International headquarters in Chicago. Membership in the AKS is lifelong and granted to donors who reach cumulative outright contributions of $250,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation. Ceremonies at Rotary’s headquarters provide a memorable opportunity for members to celebrate their AKS membership in the area where Rotary began. During this two-day program, honorees gather from around the world to be recognized by Rotary’s senior leaders. Fellow Rotarians, family and friends are welcome to be a part of the celebration. During the months of January and February, the Rotary Club of Edina will be holding its meetings, programs and luncheons at the Braemar Golf Course, 6364 John Harris Drive, Edina MN 55439. Our meeting time (doors opening at 12:15 p.m./program start 12:35 p.m.) and quarterly dues and meeting fees will remain the same. Lunch service will be buffet service with a vegetarian plate available on request. Tentatively the meetings will return to Edina Country Club beginning March 7.
