Jess Pierce has dedicated her career to being an advocate on behalf of youth. When she is not on the frontline, advocating and assisting young people, she is drumming.
Jess believes that it is important for young people to feel heard and empowered. Jess acquired her education at McNally Smith College of Music. She has held various positions working with youth and families in crisis. Jess is currently the Youth Housing Program Manager at Simpson Housing Services, working with youth and families who are exiting homelessness and entering supportive housing.

Volunteers welcome participants to the VEAP pantry, explain the process and respond to participant questions, keep the shopping area clean and tidy, sort through food donations, stock shelves, load groceries into vehicles and overall help VEAP promote a positive shopping experience for participants. We are back for another year of fun on Friday, Sept 29th from 5:30-8:30 pm at Centennial Lakes Pavillion in Edina. The event includes sampling craft beer, cider, and seltzers from local breweries, a silent auction including items from local businesses, games, and food!

TURN IN YOUR STUBS -- Member raffle tickets have been distributed and now is the time to turn in the stubs and payment to Kip Peterson. Raffle ticket sales are an important part of a successful Edina Rotary Foundation annual fundraiser. Over $15,000 a year is consistent raised with 100 % of the money going toward our local grants program and back into the communities of Edina, St. Louis Park, Eden Prairie, Minneapolis, and Bloomington. Cash prizes are $1,000 and four $100 winners.
The Edina Rotary Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations in Edina and its contiguous communities for grants to be used for capital purchases. Applications are due Oct. 31.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Edina raises money at the Edina Car Show and a fall fundraiser to support its projects and award grants. Each year, about $100,000 is raised for the Club’s service projects and local and international grants.
Over the course of several meetings a diverse group of Edina Rotary Club members met, discussed and formulated the Rotary Club of Edina, Strategic Vision 2023-2028.
