As part of the project, Rotarians read the book Andy & Elmer’s Apple Dumpling Adventure to local students and discuss ethics with them. Andy & Elmer’s Apple Dumpling Adventure is the story of a young entrepreneur who starts an apple dumpling business. With the guidance of a mysterious voice conveying the Four-Way Test, he turns his venture into a wonderful success and makes friends along the way. During the chats, members get to know each other and about the club. His firm, Business Owner Succession Strategies (BOSS), assists the owner to develop a plan around the three legs of the exit planning stool: business owner financial plan, personal plan post-exit, and business attractiveness. Every business owner will exit his or her business. That is why he thinks: exit planning is simply good business planning. "Building An Inclusive Economy in Minnesota", Race & Equity Series with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis series will be sponsored by District 5950, Rotary Club of Edina, and the Federal Reserve of Minneapolis. This mini-series will take place at Edina Country Club on June 2 and October 6, 2022, 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. It will opened as a district-wide event. Event details and registration can be found HERE. Rotary Club of Edina's meeting fees cover the cost of this event and counts toward meeting attendance. Please register as an Edina Rotary Club Member. As of last Thursday, 60 of our 160 members have contributed to The Rotary Foundation. Team Jennifer has 28 of 80 members contributing for 35% participation and Team Jeff has 32 of 80 members contributing for 40% participation. So far, total contributions are at $68,502.
