Presidency Transition Meeting on June 27

The Thursday, June 27, Rotary Club of Edina meeting will be the last meeting of the Rotary year. The presidency of the club will transition from John Flynn to Josh Sprague. Sprague will serve as Club President from July 2019 through June 2020.
 
We'll hear from both the outgoing and incoming president at the meeting, as well as being introduced to the new and returning members of the Rotary Club of Edina Board of Directors and Edina Rotary Foundation Board of Directors. We'll also recognize the board members who are retiring from their board duties. 
 
Join us for this special meeting at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for the lunch and program is $20 for adults and $12 for children. Cash, check and credit card payments are accepted.
 
There is NO ROTARY MEETING July 4, due to the 4th of July holiday.

4th of July Parade - 1st Annual Car Show

Join the Parade

Edina’s 4th of July parade is just around the corner and we would like the Rotary Club of Edina to be out in full force!

Register by clicking HERE.

Register to volunteer to walk in the parade with the club.  The morning of July 4 please arrive at our parade unit (east service road of highway 100, just south of Perkins) by 9:30 AM.  Special t-shirts will be provided along with fun items to hand out to the community.

Join the Car Show

The Rotary Club of Edina is proud to present the First Annual Edina Car Show on July 4, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  (directly after the 4th of July parade!)

Volunteers Needed! Volunteers are needed at the event from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., please register here: https://www.edinarotary.org/page/edina-car-show.  Volunteers will receive a special t-shirt for their participation!

The Rotary Club of Edina Car Show will be hosted at Southdale Center parking lot (in front of the old Herberger’s).  This family-friendly event will feature food, games, vendors, and some of the best collector cars (and bikes!) in Minnesota, including classic, vintage, and exotic.

In Review - June 20
The annual Rotary Club of Edina picnic was held at the Centennial Lakes Pavilion this past Thursday evening. The event was well attended by more than 100 people including many families and grandchildren. A sumptuous buffet of classic picnic items were served along with an ample selection of beverages during which John Flynn provided his photography expertise.

The Edina Country Club will serve Orange Glazed Salmon or Southwestern Chicken Salad at the Thursday, July 11, 2019, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. Lunch service begins at 12:15 p.m. with the meeting to follow and ends at 1:30 p.m. Visiting Rotarian's and non-Rotarians are welcome to join us. Cost is $20 per guest for lunch and program.
