Donna Nelson is a social worker who has been embedded with the Edina Police Department since August 2020. She originally split her time between Richfield and Edina but became fulltime here in Edina this past February. She will focus her presentation on her primarily mental health related work within the Edina Police Department using her Hennepin County social workers connections.
LATE BREAKING - Anna Prisacari spoke at our club on the Ukrainian war and is working with four Ukrainian families to bring their students to the USA for their education during the conflict. The International School of Minnesota is excited to welcome these four Ukrainian students to join the school in the Fall of 2022. These students, ranging from Grades 8 -10 have been selected to receive scholarships to ISM, including full tuition and room and board. A fundraising luncheon event is scheduled for August 13th, 2022 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. Please watch your email for additional details and a registration link.

At 6:30 p.m. on the lake promenade step back in time to watch strolling musicians with a Dixieland sound, a live organ grinder and magician, see model boats and Pennyfarthing bicycles, antique autos, and enjoy 25-cent ice cream cones, 5-cent balloons and more. At 8:30 p.m. is the Sousa Band Concert. Rotary gets a spotlight on stage as the show starts. Fireworks follow the concert.
