Mostly, John likes to let his work speak for itself, but his experience and story tells a lot about who will be speaker. In an interview style presentation, John will share a little about himself. The story is a lot longer and you can ask for the rest.
He has a fine art degree from the University of MN with 20+ years of extensive creative experience including both fine and commercial art.
His fine art is all over the country and he is extremely pleased and blessed to have clients and collectors far and wide. His 20 years of being an entrepreneur allows a different perspective on problem solving, budgeting and scheduling. John's work can be seen at www.johngerber.com.

Jennifer E. Jones is a Canadian communications executive. She was president of Rotary International for 2022–23, the first woman to be selected in the 117-year history of the organization.
Jones first experienced a Rotary meeting when only men were allowed to join. She was working as a reporter in the 1980s and she would attend meetings as a guest so that she could report on them. It took a High Court ruling for Rotary to accept women members and she joined in 1996. Jones is a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland.
On Wednesday, October 23, the Rotary Club of Edina has a wonderful opportunity to serve our neighbors in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. We’ll be helping at Augustana Lutheran Church and Community Emergency Services by setting up, serving a dinner meal to those in need, engaging with attendees, and cleaning up afterward.
Please arrive at Augustana by 4:30 PM and plan to stay until about 7:00 PM. There is parking on site and on nearby streets. If you wish to carpool from Edina Country Club, gather at 3:45 PM in the lot at the south end (the end farthest from the main entrance). Please let Don Hutchison know no later than October 21 if you wish to carpool (see below for Don’s contact information).
We are looking for 10–12 volunteers. This is a meaningful way to come alongside our neighbors and serve together as Rotarians.
If you’d like to be part of this great service project, please contact:
