Members of the Rotary Club of Edina once again read to third-grade students in the Edina School District to promote literacy, and introduce the students to the Rotary Four Way Test. Rotarians read "Andy and Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure" to the classes, then gave each student a copy of the book and an apple from a local grocery store.
More reading adventures with third-graders are planned this school year. Contact Jennifer Bennerotte more information.

My name is Simran Mishra, and I saw you [Paul Mooty] speak yesterday in Professor Molloy’s class [at the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota].
I just wanted to thank you for coming in, and speaking about the importance of being ethical in business. It means a lot when business leaders take the time to talk about ethics/values.
I also wanted to thank you for something else I believe you were involved in—Camp Enterprise. It was weekend-long program for high school students interested in business. My attendance was graciously sponsored by the Edina Rotary. I remember that Faribault Woolen Mill gave every student who attended a free scarf! However, more importantly, Rotary and the program helped me realize my passion for business. As a junior, I’m glad I made the decision to pursue business. Thank you for your part in that!
It was Prospective Member Day at the April 12 Rotary Club of Edina meeting. All members were encouraged to bring a guest to check out the club and Rotary. And members and guests alike were in for a treat!
The program speakers were the St. Paul Winter Carnival Royal Family. On their first visit to our club, they did not disappoint! Singing, knighting and storytelling were just some of the highlights.
Wayne and Dana Harmon were celebrated as Major Donors for their generosity to The Rotary Foundation. Dan Hallberg bestowed the honor.
New member Scott Blake was officially inducted into the club. And Kelly Anderson gave her Classification Talk.
