Raymond Rogers is the chair of the Geology Department at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is an earth scientist who studies ancient sedimentary environments and the fossil record of vertebrate animals. His talk, "The Amazing Dinosaur Fossil Record of Madagascar", will focus on the highlights of his Madagascar work.

This year’s fundraiser, themed “Let’s Dance,” will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest. The event will feature dinner, dancing to music by the High and Mighty Band and a raffle.

The 3rd Annual Edina Car Show fundraiser of Rotary Club of Edina held on Sept. 11, 2021 is a wrap. A wonderful community gathering with 82 cars displayed and hundreds of visitors of all ages as well as many Rotarians and their families. We raised approximately $7,500 for our charitable giving arm of the club, The Edina Rotary Foundation.
Thanks to the focused and steadfast leadership of Past President Sam Thompson and the 2020-2021 Rotary Club of Edina Board of Directors during a very challenging year, our club has again earned this prestigious award. Vocational Happy Hour for September 1st featured member Patti Ellingson Solheim with her sister and Rotarian Jane Ellingson Ehresmann and her son Jake Ehresmann with Ellingson & Ellingson. They were joined by Mark Gasner, our Rotaract Club’s founding president. Ellingson and Ellingson is a CPA firm with a family owned approach to accounting services currently in their third generation serving our community. Wednesday, October 6 we will be gathering together for live meetings held at CW's Bar andRestaurant, 8302 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, MN 55437. We will meet at 5:30 for happy half hour and our speaker presentation from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. No registration is necessary, just show up. Sylvester Thomas of the Edina Noon Rotary Club will speak to managing financial services both at the personal production level as well as at the corporate management level.

Helping to develop the next generation of business leaders, Edina Morningside and the Rotary Club of Edina are hosting up to 120 junior and senior students from 60 District 5950 and 5960 high schools. During the three-day camp held at YMCA Camp Induhapi in Loretto, Minnesota these area Rotary club sponsored students will discover the free enterprise system.
