Gerry Norton has completed his first month as the Rotary Club of Edina’s 72nd President. The 2026-2027 Rotary International theme is “Create Lasting Impact.” Locally, Norton is expected to usher in innovative projects, fundraisers and initiatives that reflect his commitment to inclusivity and community empowerment. The group’s next fundraiser will be the Edina Car Show noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. at 50th & France. Norton is a licensed real estate broker in five states. He founded the Brookshire Company in 2017, building a company around his diverse expertise. Propelled by the philosophies of the Society of Industrial Office Realtors, Brookshire focuses on client success first and foremost while creating opportunities for communities to thrive, ensuring that business and community enjoy a cohesive relationship. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Edina for 26 years and is a Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation.
With our Rotary fiscal year closing on June 30th, time is running out to achieve our Annual Giving goal. These critical funds are used directly to secure our ability to support future grants that benefit the community and world.

The Rotary Clubs of Edina and Edina-Morningside will present “Grooves and Foods,” the second-annual summer concert series at Centennial Lakes Park’s Maetzold Amphitheater, 7499 France Ave. S. The series will feature classic rock tributes and community spirit.
Produced by Minnesota Music Hall of Famer Mick Sterling and Wayne Anthony, this series will run the first four Tuesdays in June, with a full evening of food, entertainment and free live music.Past President of Rotary Club of Edina President and Minnesota Music Hall of Famer St. Paul Peterson will also perform.
