Previously Mark was Founder and CEO of ThreeWire, Inc., a software-enabled services company which significantly shortens patient enrollment timelines in pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device clinical research studies. He led the growth of ThreeWire from startup to several hundred employees and operations in over forty countries, culminating in his sale of the company to a leading global clinical research services firm in early 2017.

Edina’s Rotary Clubs are looking for families that wish to expand their world and learn more about another culture while sharing their culture with a Rotary Exchange Student. The primary requirement is a willingness to open your heart and home to an exchange student and accept him or her as your own. Family makeup is less important than a desire to host. Families with or without kids, empty-nesters, single parents.... it’s all a part of the experience! YOU ARE WHAT WE NEED!!

Edina Rotarian Tim Murphy was recently awarded the Regional Service Award for a Polio Free World for 2021-2022 by Rotary International in recognition of significant active personal service toward the goal of polio eradication. He was one of only eight Rotarians or Rotaractors worldwide to receive this competitive award.
The Rotary Club of Edina recently presented Betsey Nimmo with its 2022 Chrysanne Manoles Women In Leadership Award.
Reflecting society in 1905, the Rotary organization was limited to male members and remained so officially until 1989, when the Council on Legislation, Rotary’s parliament, voted to eliminate the male-only provision, opening up membership to qualified women across the world. However, the forward-thinking Rotary Club of Edina welcomed its first female member, Chrysanne Manoles, a year earlier in 1988. Manoles continues to be active in Rotary.
