Spring Fireside Chats are next week

The annual spring Fireside Chats are next week! We have four events scheduled for Rotarians to attend May 22 through May 25.

Held each spring and fall, the Fireside Chats are very informal social exchanges for members to enjoy and learn about Rotary and to get to know one another. It is a chance to meet our new members or reconnect with old friends!

Here is the schedule. All gatherings begin at 7 p.m.:

Tuesday, May 22—home of Will Steinke, 508 Tyler Court, Edina. Register here.
Wednesday, May 23—home of Susan Stiles, 7305 Claredon Drive, Edina. Register here.
Thursday, May 24—home of Gordy Lewis, 6824 Chapel Lane, Edina. Registration is closed.
Friday, May 25—home of Michael Stanzak, 724 Lake Point, Chanhassen. Register here.

Members are encouraged to come to all the Fireside Chats, or pick the one that best works with their schedule. We encourage everyone to register to allow the hosts to plan for the event.

New members—you are especially encouraged to attend one or all of the Fireside Chats! It is a great way to get to know your fellow Rotarians in a casual atmosphere. Let us know if you have questions.

Letter bag
Thank you for the generous donation of $2,000, received on April 20, 2018. Your gift, designated to Living Well Workbooks, enables us to provide support for families impacted by dementia.

Alzheimer's is the largest public health threat facing the nation. Currently, more than 1,300 people are diagnosed with dementia every day, and we are committed to provide help to them through programs such as our care consultations, 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900), community and professional education, support groups and early stage programs. No one should have to face this disease alone.

We are grateful for your support, and your belief in our vision of a world without Alzheimer's. Thank you for this incredible gift!

Sincerely,

Susan J. Spalding
Chief Executive Officer
Alzheimer's Association, Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter
