With more than 20 years of leadership experience leading and advising hundreds of for-profit and not-for-profit companies helping them to grow, scale, turn around and transform their business, Jamie Flaws is now directing the Minnesota Zoo Foundation’s philanthropic efforts to support the Minnesota Zoo and its mission to connect people, animals, and the natural world to save wildlife.
Prior to this role, Flaws served the Zoo and Zoo Foundation as an independent consultant and contractor, most notably as project manager for the Treetop Trail. A former media executive, Jamie is known for advancing missions and teams while fostering big-picture ideation that strengthens strategy and improves execution.

Buffet lunch featuring fresh Indian cuisine will begin at Noon. The second of a two- part series "Concerts on the Green" begin next week, July 21. Hosted by Church of St. Patrick, presented by Washburn-McReavy and sponsored by Rotary Club of Edina and State Farm Insurance-Matt Boockmeier, this FREE two session musical series is open to the public. Friday, July 21 will feature Classic American Rockers with special guest Red Stiletto. The Rotary Club of Edina held its transition meeting of the 2022–2023 Rotary year, June 29. The presidency of the club transferred from Joe Hayes to Shelly Loberg at the meeting. Shelly officially took over as the 69th president of the Rotary Club of Edina on July 1. Incoming President Loberg outlined her goals for the new Rotary year, and unveiled the 2023-2024 Rotary theme, "Create Hope in the World."
