The Rotary Club of Edina seeks nominees for the 11th-annual “Chrysanne Manoles Women In Leadership Award.”
To nominate a woman for the prestigious award, submit a one- or two-page letter explaining how the person demonstrates the Four Way Test and what she does in the community. Letters should be sent to Rotary Club of Edina, 4801 W. 50th St., Edina, MN 55424 and must be postmarked by Friday, May 15. Nominees cannot be current Rotarians and must live, work or volunteer in Edina. Female nominees must demonstrate Rotary’s “Four Way Test” of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

It is time again to plan the Rotary Club of Edina Spring Fireside Chats with a twist, these meeting will be held via ZOOM! The Social Committee is looking for ZOOM hosts for these casual get-togethers. 2020 Spring dates are May 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 beginning at a time to be determined and lasting for about an hour and a half.
Held each spring and fall, the Fireside Chats are very informal social exchanges for members to enjoy and learn about Rotary and to get to know one another. The hosts are asked only to encourage discussion and a good time for all. It is a chance to meet our new members or reconnect with old friends!
Members are encouraged to come to all the Fireside Chats, or pick the one that best works with their schedule.
New members—you are especially encouraged to attend one or all of the Fireside Chats! It is a great way to get to know your fellow Rotarians in a casual atmosphere. Let us know if you have questions.

Rotary International District 5950 and the Rotary Clubs of Edina, Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park and Roseville provided over $12,000 in funding for raised garden beds at The Sheridan Story.

The meeting continued with the invocation, Pledge of Allegiance and 4-Way Test. Fellow Rotarian Jean Morrison was on set to give us an update on the Edina Rotary Helping Hands program.
Josh introduced Rotary Club of Eden Prairie, President John Crudele. President Crudele presented and interviewed the guest speaker, John Rubischko, "Life Without Bars" for the Area 3 Vocational Ethics Day event. Mr. Rubischko spoke of the many life changing aspects of making poor choices and decisions even though in youth he experienced a privileged, secure and loving upbringing.
