"Victoria is doing great, and getting acclimated to Edina. Joe Hayes graciously shared Gopher Homecoming football tickets with Victoria and she really had fun experiencing a Great win by the Gophers! If you would like to share an event or experience with Victoria - game tickets, a show, etc. please let Jody Kern or Cathy Hogan know so they can coordinate.
HELP!!!!!!! We are still looking for two more host families for Victoria - we need a family for the Winter term (Dec-Feb) and Spring term (March -early June). If your family, or a neighbor or family you know of are interested, please, please put them in contact with Heather Hansen (612-366-0051).
Here is a link to the Rotary Youth Exchange program website for more information on hosting and application. This is an experience you/and your family will cherish for years. PLEASE consider hosting this lovely young lady - you do not have to live in Edina, but would need to provide transportation to and from school. You can be a single female, or maybe a family with no children living at home - all you have to be as a host is to provide a loving, inclusive and safe home for the student.”
