Volunteers welcome participants to the VEAP pantry, explain the process and respond to participant questions, keep the shopping area clean and tidy, sort through food donations, stock shelves, load groceries into vehicles and overall help VEAP promote a positive shopping experience for participants. This week's featured business leader is Nekima Levy Armstrong, founder of the Racial Justice Network, and owns two companies, Dope Roots and Black Pearl, LLC. In 2024, she was honored as a Minnesota Attorney of the Year for her work on an environmental justice case against the city of Minneapolis, called Smart Growth. Register HERE. RETURN TO EDINA COUNTRY CLUB. Our meeting have returned to the Edina Country Club. Doors open at 12:15 p.m./program starts 12:35 p.m.) Quarterly dues and meeting fees will remain the same. The final quarter of the 2023-2024 Rotary year will be billed the first week in April. Lunch service has returned to the choice of a salad or hot meal with a vegetarian plate available on request.
