Jan 30 - Rotary Awareness Day at State Capitol
Save the Date - You may have heard, plans are in the works for a first of its kind Rotary Awareness Day on January 30th at our State Capitol. Purpose: To share our Rotary story, and hear from legislators about programs and plans related to Rotary and its values. We hope you will consider joining us that day on the hill. We have 3 Rotary districts in our state involved, and registration will be going live later this week. Capacity is limited to 100 registered Rotarians.
Gently Used Eyeglass Cases Needed
Our club's small international grant committee led by Dick Teegen, Dan Mott and Tim Murphy is in the process of working the Rotary District 5950 to secure a grant to supply prescription eyeglasses to the people of Tanzania. Should the grant be approved, it will only cover the pair of eyeglasses. We would like to show additional care to the DCMC eye patients and also supply an eyeglass case. We will be collecting these cases during the next few meeting. Look for a basket or box near the reception desk.
