Rotary Club of Edina Seeks Nominees for Women In Leadership Award
The Rotary Club of Edina seeks nominees for the 17th-annual “Chrysanne Manoles Women In Leadership Award.”

Nominees cannot be current Rotarians and must live, work or volunteer in Edina. Female nominees must demonstrate Rotary’s “Four Way Test” of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

To nominate a woman for the prestigious award, submit a simple form at https://bit.ly/WILAward2024. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, April 30.

The 2024 Chrysanne Manoles Women In Leadership Award will be announced at the May 23 meeting of the Rotary Club of Edina.

For more information about the Women in Leadership Award, contact Past President Jennifer Bennerotte, 612-201-3467 or jbennerotte@EdinaRotary.org.

Volunteers Needed to Select Women’s Award and Scholarship Winners
Rotarians are needed to help select the 17th-annual Chrysanne Manoles Women in Leadership Award winner and Edina High School scholarship recipients this spring.

Nominations are being collected now for the Women in Leadership Award, which will be presented at the club’s May 23 meeting. After the April 30 application deadline, the nominations will be forwarded to selection committee members to review. The group will select a winner in early May who best demonstrates Rotary’s Four-Way Test.

The club is expected to receive scholarship applications soon from the Edina Education Fund. Committee members will select a Rotary Global Scholar for a renewable $1,000 scholarship and two other students to receive $1,500 scholarships. The scholarships will be presented at a breakfast in May.

To avoid conflicts of interest, Rotarians who nominate someone for the Chrysanne Manoles Women in Leadership Award or who are related to scholarship applicants cannot be on the selection committee for that award. To join one or both of the selection committees, contact Past President Jennifer Bennerotte, jbennerotte@EdinaMN.gov or 952-833-9520.
