Feroza Mehta is the editor of Edina Magazine, bringing her wealth of experience from a diverse journalism background. A passionate advocate for autism awareness and acceptance, Feroza's commitment to meaningful storytelling extends beyond her editorial role. With a love of writing found as a high school newspaper reporter, she sharpened her skills at Ottawa’s Carleton University in the bachelor of journalism program before pursuing a master's in international journalism at City University of London. Feroza's impactful career includes reporting for Citytv and CTV, as well as contributing to the Calgary Herald. Her journey reflects a dedication to journalistic excellence and a profound commitment to social advocacy. She was born and raised in Canada and moved to the United States in 2006.
The Rotary Club of Edina Spring Fireside Chat schedule will begin Tuesday, May 14. Club member hosted these small and casual social gatherings give experienced and freshman Rotarians the opportunity to get to know each other and learn about Rotary. Usually held in the host member's home as a come and go timed gathering, it's a nice way to conversationally and personally connect with your fellow Rotary friends. You're invited to attend all the scheduled chats or pick one that works best with your schedule. To allow the host to prepare, please register for each gathering you plan to attend. Registration Closed. Check with Kayla for cancellations. The picnic will take the place of our May 30 noon Rotary meeting. This is a catered event and registration is closed. There is no additional cost to members (this event is included with quarterly meeting fees). Attending senior active, family members and guests cost $20 per person. On Saturday, June 1, 2024, 9 am to Noon, fellow Rotarian John Mazzara is sponsoring a FREE Shed Event in the parking lot of Re/Max at 7700 France Ave S. Bring your paper documents only for disposal. Please feel free to invite a friend, a large truck has been ordered. Go to the South side of the Building and look for the inflatable Re/Max Balloon and ShredIt truck.
