Edina Police Officer David Lindman is program speaker for Jan. 15 Rotary meeting
The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at the Edina Country Club. Cost for the program and lunch is $18. All are welcome
Lindman has been with the Edina Police Department for over fourteen years. He was assigned to the Minnesota Financial Crimes Task Force for more than five years, where he worked on organized crime groups that were involved in complex fraud. Additionally, he has worked two years of undercover commercial crimes where he investigated theft rings and fencing operations. Currently, he continues to work on organized fraud groups as a Special Federal Deputy United States Marshal under the authority of the United States Secret Service. Lindman is the computer forensic examiner for the Edina Police Department, and he also assists with forensics for the Minnesota Financial Crimes Task Force and several federal agencies. He has participated in or led investigations that have received international awards and recognition.
