The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Edina Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Ric Dressen as program speaker at the Thursday, March 17, meeting. He will speak about "Next Generation Facilities for our Learners of Today and Tomorrow." 
 
New members Bjorn Freudenthal and Toni Gerard will be officially inducted into the club at the meeting.
 
Dr. Ric Dressen will be the program speaker at the Thursday, March 17, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. Dressen, superintendent of Edina Public Schools, will speak about "Next Generation Facilities for our Learners of Today and Tomorrow."
 
Dressen is a native Minnesotan, and has been superintendent in Edina since July 2006. He was previously superintendent for Alexandria Public Schools and Waconia Public Schools. Dressen received the Polaris Leadership Award from the Minnesota Association of School Administrators in 2013. He is on the Board of Governors of the University of St. Thomas School of Engineering and the Board of Directors of Fairview Southdale Hospital.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets Thursdays at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for lunch and the program is $19 for adults and $12 for students.
