Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Tom Chorske as the program speaker at the Thursday, Aug. 13, meeting. Chorske, a former professional hockey player, will talk about "The Culture of Championship Teams." He now works as a hockey analyst on Fox Sports North.
 
Tom Chorske will be the program speaker at the Thursday, Aug. 13, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. He will speak about "The Culture of Championship Teams." 
 
Chorske was born and raised in south Minneapolis. He attended the University of Minnesota and played hockey for the Gophers from 1985 to 1989. Chorske then went on to play professional hockey from 1989 to 2001. He has worked in sales and business development since 2002. He is also a hockey analyst for Fox Sports North.
 
Chorske has lived in Edina since 1992, and has been married for 18 yrs, with three children ages 14, 12 and 9.
 
The Rotary Club of Edina meets Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for lunch and the program is $19 for adults, $12 for children.
