Derek A. Beevas III, known as Tomme Beevas, is the Founder and Chief Strategic Officer of Pimento Jamaican Kitchen and its philanthropic partners, Pimento Relief Services and the Pimento Foundation, where he blends authentic Jamaican culture with Minnesota hospitality to build a nationally recognized culinary and community impact brand. A former leader of Cargill's global community engagement strategy who helped raise more than 100 million dollars for charitable causes across six continents and a recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award, Tomme now focuses on entrepreneurship, civic leadership and culture driven innovation. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Dera, CEO of the African American Leadership Forum, and their children, Genesis and their four year old son, Derek IV.
