Dale Kurschner leads Twin Cities Business’s overall direction and content development ranging from what runs in its printed pages and on its cover, to the subjects covered by its e-newsletters, daily online stories and live annual events. He also writes, edits and speaks on business and economic issues.

Since becoming editor in chief in 2010, Kurschner has spearheaded the formation of several new-revenue projects, improved marketing and re-energized the TCB brand, which during this time earned more than 70 national and state journalism excellence awards and became a trusted source of financial commentary on local radio and television stations.

Before joining TCB, he led corporate communications for a $5 billion, 11,000-employee division of UnitedHealth Group, and managed internal communications at Lawson Software while it merged into a company operating in 24 countries. Prior to this, he pioneered a new approach to financial journalism as founder of Profits Journal, was editor of Business Ethics magazine, and worked for Business Week, Dow Jones, Gannett and the Business Journal.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome to attend. Cost for lunch and the program is $20 for adults, $12 for children. Cash, check or credit card payments are accepted.
