Rotaract clubs consist of young professionals between the ages of 18 and 30 to take action in their communities, develop their leadership and professional skills, and have fun. Our next meeting will be held at 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thurs., May 30 at The Mezz, 7171 France Ave S, Edina 55435

This meeting will feature a preview session of Dale Carnegie led by Bridget Hallstrom, Dale Carnegie strategic account executive, who will lead an interactive session where you will learn to:
  • Learn a process to build relationships and improve memory skills
  • Review the 5 Drivers of Success
  • Understand the Dale Carnegie Course and how it could impact you
Put the date on your calendar and watch your email for more details.

Each meeting will feature a speaker and focus on service projects in alignment with Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”  There are 10,904 Rotaract Clubs in the world consisting of 250,792 members in 184 countries.  There is only one Rotaract Club in District 5950. The Rotary Club of Edina and the Edina Morningside Rotary Club support The Rotaract Club of Edina and their members will manage its club independently. As Rotaract members connect with other young leaders, they can take advantage of all Rotary has to offer, including scholarships and peace fellowships, RYLA events, and friendship exchanges or vocational training teams. There is no charge to attend meetings.

Mark Gasner is the first Edina Rotaract President. Nash Faulk is President-Elect. Members Jake Johnson and Scott Hawkins have agreed to be on our founding Rotaract board.  Please contact Sam Thompson at sthompson@transitionsib.com if you have friends, family, neighbors or work associates who would be interested in joining our Rotaract Club.
