The Thursday, April 5, Rotary Club of Edina meeting is a joint meeting with the Edina Morningside Rotary Club. Our club will host EMRC members at our usual meeting place and time, 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club.The program speaker for the April 5 meeting is Eric Perkins. Perkins is the Sports Director at KARE-11. He will speak about "At Play."

Never truly good enough to play college or professional sports, Eric Perkins decided to talk about them instead. Perk, as he's better known, grew up immersed in sports, but also in television. Perk combined his two passions and became a sportscaster where he worked in Tupelo, Memphis and Atlanta before finding his way to Minnesota where he currently serves as the sports director for the NBC station (KARE-TV) in the Twin Cities.
He lives in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities with his wife, three children and cockapoo.
